he’s
starting
a
new
position
as
executive
vice
president
of
financial
strategy
at


Rate.

Flanagan
was
one
of
four
senior
executives
brought
on
during

Anthony
Hsieh’s
tenure
at
loanDepot
who

left
the
company
just
two
months
after
its
founder
was
ousted
from
his
executive
role
amid
a
clash
with
the
board
of
directors.

Flanagan,
who
had
joined
the
company
in
2017,
was
replaced
by
David
Hayes.
He
also
held
previous
positions
as
executive
vice
president
at

Carrington
Mortgage
Services,
as
a
consultant
at

Waterfall
Asset
Management
and
as
managing
director
at

Cerberus
Capital
Management.

Flanagan
did
not
immediately
respond
to

HousingWire’s
request
for
comment.
