a
statement.
“We
believe
this
additional
entry
point
into
our
listings
and
data
will
make
home
searchers’
lives
easier,
and
the
experience
aligns
with
our
goal
of
making
home
search
less
about
filters
and
more
conversational.”

The
company
said
that
this
app
integration
with
ChatGPT
builds
on
its
goal
to
make
the
home
search
process
feel
more
natural
across
its
platforms.
A
first
step
in
this
overall
process,
according
to
Redfin,
was
its
launch
of

conversational
search
on

Redfin.com
in
November
2025. 

To
access
the
Redfin
app
in
ChatGPT,
users
can
navigate
to
the
apps
section
of
their
ChatGPT
profile
and
search
for
Redfin. 

Zillow
was
the
first
real
estate
firm
to
launch
an
app
with
ChatGPT,
debuting
its
app
in
early
October
2025.
In
addition,

Google
began

piloting
a
program
powered
by

HouseCanary’s
listing
portal
in
certain
markets
late
last
year. 

Critics
of
these
integrations
have
argued
that
listing
portals
are
violating
their
IDX
licensing
agreements,
as
they
have
argued
that
the
agreements
only
allow
portals
to
display
MLS
data
on
their
websites
and
mobile
apps,
but
not
publish
or
transmit
MLS
data
to
other
domains.
